I'm using spotify with the Windows app in most cases. But recently I played songs from the webplayer in chrome browser. Today I saw several songs in my queue which I'd like to delete. But when I open the (Hamburger) Menu and choose 'delete from playlist' nothing happens. This is especially a problem.

Start your Android music manager - Assistant for Android on your computer and link it on your Android tablet or phone using a data cable. The Android program will recognize your device and display it on the main window showing all the data in the left panel.

Note: What you need to know is that by deleting the music files in your Android phone by the above method, any expert hacker can use some file recovery tools to retrieve the deleted Android music files. If you want to permanently delete music files from your Android phone, you need a third-party Android data erasing tool. This will be covered in detail in the fourth part.
Option 4. Permanently Remove All Android Music with Android Cleaner Software
Some users may want to use a cleaning software to directly remove the unwanted songs so here, we would like to suggest you to use the Android Data Eraser. As its name suggests, this is a professional software to clean the Android phones like Samsung, Huawei, LG, HTC, Motorola, etc. The highlight of this software is that it can permanently wipe the data on your Android phone. In other words, all the files that are erased by this tool won't be restorable.
At present, this software only supports to erase all data for Android devices. So please backup your Android files before deleting the data or you will lose all the files permanently.
Tutorial to completely clean Android files:
Step 1. Download and install the software
First of all, you need to download the software by clicking the icon below and then go with the instructions to properly install it.
Step 2. Conect your Android phone to PC
Connect your Android phone to computer and then launch the installed tool. During the connecting process, you need to go with the prompts on the screen to make the phone recognized, such as enabling USB debugging. Once the Android phone is recognized by the software, you will see an interface as below:
Step 3. Select security level
When the software detects your Android device successfully, you can click 'Erase' button on the main interface and then tap on 'Medium' to choose a security level according to your need.
Step 4. Remove the Android files
Finally, just type 'delete' in the 'Erase All Data' interface and click the 'Erase' button located at the bottom right corner. Then all the files on Android, including the songs, will be removed from your Android phone immediately.
Conclusion
All the options above are helpful to clean the Android music but I think the assistant software would be better here cause it won't affect other files on your phone and you can also manage other data like photos, videos, messages, etc. with it. Anyway, just choose the one you like to delete music from your Android phone or Tablet so you can better enjoy the device.

Still, some things are better left to us meat sacks, er, I mean humans. And music can’t always be left to the all-knowing algorithm. How could Alexa possibly know if I suddenly just really want to hear that one Peter Gabriel song. You know, the one from all the movie trailers.
But even without leaving all the decisions in Alexa’s hands, you can get her help in putting together that perfect playlist that gets you through a night of studying, or keeps you pumped up on the road, or makes that special someone in your life feel appreciated.
So, how do you create and edit an Amazon Echo playlist? It’s pretty easy, actually.
Create an Amazon Echo playlist
Creating an Amazon Echo playlist is incredibly quick and painless. You’ll just tell Alexa you want her to create a playlist, and, well, that’s it:
- Say “Alexa, create a new playlist.”
- Follow Alexa’s prompts (she’ll ask you to name the playlist).
Alternately, you can give Alexa extra information at the outset to save time:
- Say “Alexa, create a ‘bedtime’ playlist” or;
- Say “Alexa, create a ‘road trip’ playlist” or;
- Say “Alexa, create a ‘Valentine’s Day’ playlist.”
You get the picture. You can name your playlist whatever you like.
Edit an Amazon Echo playlist
Once you’ve created a new and currently empty playlist, you’ll want to actually add songs to it.
Unfortunately, your options are pretty limited. You can only add songs via Amazon Prime Music or Amazon Music Unlimited. You also can’t just list the songs you want to add. You have to be listening to a song to add it to a given playlist.
- Start listening to the song you want on your playlist.
- Say “Alexa, add this song to my playlist.”
- Follow Alexa’s prompts (she’ll ask which playlist you want to add the song to).
- Also, if you happen to think of a song you want to add that’s not playing, you can just say it. For example: “Hey Alexa, add ‘One More Year by Tame Impala’ to my Saturday Morning playlist.”
Alternately, you can name the playlist right away:
- Say “Alexa, add this song to my ‘Friday night house party’ playlist” or;
- You decide which playlist you’re adding a song to.
That’s it. Repeat these steps with each song you want on your playlist.
As for deleting songs from your playlists, or deleting the playlists themselves, you’re on your own. Or, more precisely, Alexa won’t be able to help you.
Instead, log into the Amazon Music app. There, you can delete songs at your convenience.
Wrap up
Creating a playlist using Alexa can save you time and energy — you can just lie on the couch and ask her to do it while completely motionless if you like. And, you can also do things like ask Alexa something like: ““Alexa, wake me up to [artist, song, genre, playlist, or album] at 8am.” That can be handy.
Hopefully Amazon will improve the options available to users, like creating a Spotify playlist, or deleting songs with a voice command. For now, this will have to do.
